Looking for a new beauty & cosmetic clinic in Auckland central?

If you’re on the hunt to find a new (and good quality) beauty therapist located in the heart of Auckland central, then look no further! I can assure you that Pharmville Queen Street Pharmacy & Beauty Clinic will exceed all your beauty expectations.

To celebrate the launch of their beautiful and stylish new clinic, I was invited to come along and review one of the many treatments on offer at Pharmville Queen Street Pharmacy & Beauty Clinic.

I was treated to my very first Matis Facial Treatment – and it was absolutely divine.

As you can see in the picture above, the actual clinic is located at the back of the pharmacy, making it your one stop shop for all things beauty and health related.

I was greeted by the lovely (and absolutely gorgeous) Maria, who kindly asked me to sit down and enjoy a matiskin Collagen drink before we began with the treatment.

Maria explained that a matis facial is all about, “working from the inside out” and that’s why they start the treatment by getting you to have the matiskin collagen drink, which is full of collagen, vitamins and has a delicious berry flavour.

It is believed that this special drink helps you to experience the welcoming touch at the beginning of the treatment (which is just a little massage to help you relax or “let go” of any stress before the start of the treatment).

After the drink, she led me to the therapy room where the treatment began with a steam cleaner to open my pores.

The specific treatment is all about promoting radiance and hydration to refine skin texture. Each step of the treatment aims to remove dead skin cells, hydrate and improve the appearance of devitalised skin.

Maria mentioned that the exfoliating step is the most important one, as it provides a chemical and a physical exfoliation that penetrates deep into the skin, bringing out that natural radiance. After the exfoliation, she moved onto a detox massage, stimulating my lymph nodes to remove toxins from my décolletage and facial area, she then followed-up with a more relaxing body massage.

The treatment finished with a setting mask that contained loads of hyaluronic acid for hydration and plumpness. She then performed an ‘awakening of the senses’ by giving me a light arm and hand massage.

Before I left the clinic, she applied a cell expert serum which helps provide deeper penetration of the products she had used throughout the treatment.

Overall, I must say it was the most relaxing facial and massage treatment I’ve had in years. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!
