8 Summer Skincare Products You Need To Know About

As the approaching New Year sets the stage for new beginnings, what better time to reset your beauty routine?

I know we all like to rethink our routines and goals in the New Year, so I thought now’s a better time than ever to write up a skincare post!

I’ve been sent a variety of new skincare goodies over the past few months, so I thought I’d share them with you.

I’ve got everything from sunblocks, to make-up removers and even rub-on deodorant – check them out below!

1. Simple Micellar Cleansing Water & Wipes

If you’ve yet to discover micellar water, now’s the time!

It will literally wipe MINUTES off your daily skincare routine – it’s basically a makeup remover and cleanser in one and it has CHANGED MY LIFE!

Id been using Garnier’s Micellar Water up until I discovered the Simple range, I found Simple is much gentler on the skin.

I’ve also been using the eye makeup remover (pictured in the background) which is really gentle on the eyes.

2. Next up we have a few goodies from tigs&boo.

The Hurraw Lip Balm in Black Cherry is unlike any other lip balm I’ve EVER tried – it’s all organic and natural and it tastes DELISH (I literally have to stop myself from eating it).

Who even knew there was such a thing as rub-on deodorant? Well I certainly didn’t – not until I stumbled across Wendyl’s Rub-On Deodorant anyway! I’ve been using the rose scented one and am loving it, and like the lip balm it’s all naturrraaaaaaal!

If you’re looking to get seriously smooth skin, then you MUST try Eco Tan’s Organic Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub. This gorgeous blend of lemongrass, coconut oil and macadamia oil is the ultimate hydration formula!

5. Kiehl’s Peter Max Holiday Limited Edition Collection

Kiehl’s just recently launched their FAB new holiday collection in collab with Peter Max and I just LOVE the packaging!

I’ve been using the Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner which has been Kiehl’s bestseller for nearly 50 years (and after using it for a good 3 weeks it’s not hard to see why), and the Ultra Facial Cream which provides 24-hour hydration.

6. Oasis Beauty Sun SPF30

Sunscreen is the most important beauty product you will ever buy.

Oasis Beauty have a beautiful, fragrance-free sunscreen that is non-greasy and non-whitening – what more could a girl possibly ask for? It includes a combination of natural and organic ingredients including jojoba oil, shea butter, lecithin and Vitamin E to keep the skin feeling nourished and hydrated.

7. Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm

Just like the rub-on deodorant, I never knew you could buy a cleansing BALM to get rid of your make-up (this post is full of surprises).

Cleansing balms are the hottest trend in make-up removal at the moment, they’re basically like a remover, cleanser and moisturiser all-in-one.

The rich blend of plant oils melts on contact with warm skin, massaging easily onto the face and dissolving away every trace of make-up, along with other impurities.

8. Dermalogica HydraBlur Primer

I’ve always been a fan of Dermalogica primers, they’re such good quality and they do the job right. The last primer I was sent from Dermalogica was the Redness Relief Primer and absolutely ADORED it!

This new Hydra Primer is a lightweight, non-greasy formula that works to reduce the appearance of pores without drying the skin and mattifies against an oily shine, providing a silky, luminous finish.

What are your fave skincare products at the moment?
