Taking your breath away, New Zealand fashion designer Sheryl May has launched the Sheryl May Spring/Summer 2013/14 collection, entitled “Breathe”. Her bespoke printed designs capture New Zealand’s coastal beauty with garments that are more like art pieces than clothing.
The unique style reflected in this collection is born of May’s talent and experience, which is well respected and sought after in the fashion industry worldwide. May recently returned from her annual stint, working for London’s leading fashion house – Burberry.
However, for May, home is where the heart is and this is truly reflected in her latest creative collection of custom-printed fabrics. Sheryl May fabric designs, feature seabirds in flight, inspired by the Gisborne coast, where May lives while in New Zealand.
Like birds taking flight, the Sheryl May Spring/Summer 2013/14 collection transcends the limitations of seasonal trends with a fusion of soft pastel colour, feminine beauty and timeless elegant movement.
The collection includes daring two-piece suits, delicate dresses, fairy like skirts and feminine tops. The Sheryl May Spring/Summer 2013/14 collection combines sheer fabrics and lace to evoke a sense of airy lightness and romance with every piece.
Sheryl May Spring/Summer 2013/14 offers a high level of technical skill and versatility – May’s keen awareness of beauty combined with her innovative construction, continues to earn May an A-list following that includes Annie Lennox, Madonna, Nicole Richie and Penny Lancaster.
Sheryl May Spring/Summer 2013/14 collection is simply a breath of fresh air.
