Ooby Ryn’s Summer 2014 Collection includes names such as the Cheshire Dress, the Mad Hatter Blazer and the Rabbit Pant. This new collection titled ‘Wonderland’ promises to harness and deliver the vibrant and eccentric styles seen within the classic film, Alice in Wonderland.
The new Ooby Ryn Summer 2014 ‘Wonderland’ Collection has everything form flowery frills that echo images of Alice singing along to the marigolds and pansies, to sassy prints that are reminiscent of the demanding Queen of Hearts and her deck of cards.
When asked where her inspiration came from for the new collection, Brooks said that she “has always been inspired by fabrics with a point of difference and Alice in Wonderland is the perfect depiction of those styles I wanted to portray.”
Ooby’s new collection picks up on the hints of Alice’s blue dress and white apron, the puffy shouldered dresses worn by the Queen of Hearts, and those high-collared waistcoats and ties worn by the troublesome pair, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
