If you’re looking to get something “extra special” for yourself (or a friend), then personalised jewellery is definitely the way to go.
The fact that you’ve gone to the effort of hand-picking something that actually means something to you (or the person you’re buying) for seems to add a sentimental value that money just can’t buy (or in this case, it can).
Emma & Roe by Michael Hill have just came out with a new “Personalisation” collection of bracelets and necklaces that you can hand-pick, and then personalise with charms featuring your birthstone, initials, and even engravable charms.
I was lucky enough to choose a personalised necklace for myself, which I then decorated with two silver personalised sterling silver charms.
Out of the countless chains to choose from, I ended up going with the 60cm (24″) Square Belcher Chain in Sterling Silver. It’s not too thin, but also perfectly dainty enough to hold a couple of personalised charms/pendants.
I then hand-picked two charms that I felt visually went well together, but also meant something.
I’d been wanting to get an “S” pendant for some time now, but had been really fussy about how I wanted it to look… so when I saw Emma & Roe’s Personalised collection of initial/letter pendants, I fell head-over-heels almost immediately.
The “S” pendant that really caught my eye was called the S’ Mini Pendant in Sterling Silver (pictured below).
Naturally, I needed something to hand-in-hand with the mini “S” pendant, so I had a look around the Emma & Roe website and stumbled across the stunning Cubic Zirconia & Sterling Silver Circle Mini Pendant (pictured below).
Just look at how darling they are together… I am seriously in love, and have had so many compliments on them already.
And as if that’s not enough, you will also be amazed at how affordable the the entire Personalised range is. This whole set was under $150, which is almost unheard of!
So if you’re thinking about treating yourself or a friend to some new bling, you would be silly not to check out the Personalised collection from Emma & Roe at Michael Hill.

Have you got any personalised jewellery of your own? If so, what have you got and what does it mean?
